Early on, I recognized that Kevin Donohue was outperforming the field at (WJHU) WYPR in Baltimore. Their results were head and shoulders above comparable stations. He knew the market. He knew how to connect his clients to the public radio listener. While other stations were still figuring out how to build their programs, Kevin was booking the sales."Mark Fuerst

Though the rules are different the idea that Underwriting played a critical role in the survival of the station. Kevin understands the importance of matching the business to the proper programming on Public Radio.
I am pleased he has started a new company to help even more businesses and institutions see the benefits of underwriting on Public Radio. Kevin can be trusted to provide intelligent solutions to underwriting."

Although I have known Kevin personally for many years, it has only been in the last 4 years that I have had the pleasure to work with him on a long-term project. I look forward to a long working relationship with him and his firm."Linda Potter

I had the opportunity to work with Kevin Donohue first hand in helping to establish a good image for both a law firm and an institution of higher learning. His advice and responsiveness regarding public radio were instrumental in achieving success for goals with a minimal budget."Glenda LeGendre

Forming his own company is the next logical step for the guy who introduced public radio to the closed ranks of Baltimore’s mainstream ad establishment.
As good as he is at closing sales, his real talent is in opening up new markets. When he came aboard, the Baltimore station was practically invisible to media buyers, but he often said, “we’re not just selling numbers anyway, the pitch is all about quality.” Less than five years later, the station was a national leader in its market cohort for corporate underwriting. If he says he can do something for you, you can believe him, and you can take that to the bank.
I can think of more than a million reasons to work with him, and they’re all engraved with a portrait of George Washington. Kevin once pointed out to me how much George’s face resembles the Mona Lisa with a more modern hairdo. I remember his exact words delivered in his signature low-key, deadpan style of humor, “something about the way she smiles.”"
